KNOW AbL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS,THAT TkW, SOUTH BEND BILL POSTING COMPANY f as Prinieipal, and THLE AETNA ACCIDENT & LII�BILITY COMPANY as Surety, are held and firmly bound unto the City of South Bend, Indiana. in the penal oust of TWO THOUSAND ($2000.00) DOLLARS, for the payment of which said Prinicipal binds himself,his heirs assigns and personal representatives, and said Surety binds itself and its successor firmly by these presents. Dated at South Bezid, Indiana., this 23rd, day of June,1913. THE CONDITION Or TfIIS BOARD IS SUCH,Tha,t, kmhereas, the said SOUTH BEND BILL POSTING OMPANY, Prinicipal herein, is engaged in the bmsiness of erecting andl maintaining sign -boards and bill -boards within the limits of they City of South Bend, Indiana, And Whereas, the said SOU71H BEND BILL POSTING COMPANY has heretofore and will hereafter require permits for the erection and a,ltera,tion oft such sign- boards and bill -boards., NOW$ VRERE FORE,, if the said SOUTH BEND BILL POSTING CO .PANY,prinieipa,l herein., shall have save and keep harmless the City of South Bend from any and all cost, less, damages or expenses of any kind whatsoever which may be suffered by the City of S ,uth Bend, Indian,, or which it may be put to or which may accrue against t it by charging -to or recovering frost it, from err by reason of the granting of per- mission to erect or alter sign -boards and bill -boards, or from or by reason of any acts or things done under or by authority of p> mission granted by it to erect sign.-, boards or bill -boards in the City of South Bend1, and to indemnify any .and all persoa who may surfer, Mtn jury or damages by reason of the erection and construction of such sign -boards and bill -boards, all for and during the term or period of time from this date until April 1st. ,1914, then this obligation to be void; else in trill farce and effect.
