'Petition received for sewer on East Jefferson Blvd. and Greenlawn Avenue from E.line of Jefferson eights Addition to the City of South Bend to Greenlawn Avenue thence south on, Greenlawn to the St. Joseph River. Burke. ,/Sewer connection, on Kemble Avenue,under Improvement Resolution No. 274. was awarded to Staples and Ackerman. - ✓Contract for pipe surer on Birdsell Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 227. was awarded to De Paepe & Coussens. ✓Contract for pipe sewer on Olive Streset,under Improvement Resolution No. 250, was awarded to L. The same was referred to the City Engineer for ,investigation. ,/Permission was granted the Indiana & Michigan Electric Company, to _ set poles as follows — To set one 45T lamp pole on the southeast corner of Lafayette and Madison Street; also to replace one 251 pole with a 451 pole on the south side of Madison Street hbout 125? east of Lafayette Street. These poles were to be set temporarily. VPermission granted the Shteago, South Bend & Northern Indiana Railway Company to set the following poles.. To set 60 thirty (30) foot cedar poles on South Michigan Street between the end of your the present tracks and Oakside Street, between south Michigan Street and the Valid�ilia Railro for the purpose of installing transfer track 14--ith the Vandalia Railroad. Company for the handling of freight for the Norte Pumping Station. The saihe was approved as follows:— On South Michigan Street, use the Central Union Telephone Company poles jointly on the east Wide of street, on the west side of Mich. St., a new line of poles should be built by this company and used jointly by the force Telephone Company.
