<br />improve St. Lotus Street from Jefferson Blvd. to South Bend Avenue all in said City Y-
<br />by construction of a pavement, and that it is, and is hereby declared, neeessaiy,
<br />for the Northern Indiana Gas & Electric Company, which has. and operates under, a
<br />franchise from said City to supply gas to the citizens of said City, to pro vi de and
<br />instal mains, laterals, service pipes and connections for gas in said part of said
<br />street, of the dcseription, location and number set forth in said report of said
<br />City engineer, ;which mains,, service pipes and conneetions are hereby declared nec—
<br />essary for the iimediate use of said Company in supplying gas to the ovam,ees of
<br />property abutting upon said part of said Street.
