v' Engineer filed assessment roll and final estimate for Pipe sewer on Studebaker Street, from Fassnacht Avenue to La Porte Avenue, under Inrovement Resolution No. ; 215. Resolved, that notices as to the amount of assessments be published on the 24th. day of May21913 and on the 31st., day of May,1913 in the South Bend Daily Times, stating that this Board will give a hearing on, the amount of such assessments at its office in the City Hall on the 27th. , day of 1ume,1913 at 7:45 P.M. Resolved further, that the entire work under the above contract be accepted and .approved. and the final estimate thereon alloyed.. Notice of this resolution shall be pub— lished on the 24th day of May and on the 211st., day of -May 1913 at 7:45 P.A. in the South Bend Daily Times , stating that this Board will give ahearing on the acceptance of such work at its office.in the. City'Hail on ,the 27th., day of' june,1913 at 21:45 P.M. Remonstrance received from property holders on Michigan Avenue, remonstrating against Central Union, Telephone Co. constructing conduits on their lawns. The same was read and placed on file. t/Rem,on,stranee filed with the Board by citizens resideing on South Olive Street, remonstrat— ing against the construction, of a sewer or pavement on South Olive Street south of Division, Street. The same was read and placed on file. v/ Petiti0n filed with the Board for an electric light at the canner of Madison & Frances Streets. The same was read and referred to the Street Commissioner for investigation. ,`Petition filed *ith the Board for a grade on First Alley North and south west of Main Street from LaSalle Avenue to Madison Street, also the east and west alley from Main. Street to Lafayette Street. The same was read and referred to the City Engineer for in- vestigition: /Permission was granted the Indiana & Michigan Electric Company to reset one 35t pole on the west side of Garfiled Court at the rear property line of the tat, at the corner of Garfield Court and Washixgtox Street. This was approved to be set temporarily. /Bond and contract for Grade, curb and walk and concrete pavement on Prairie Avenue from Webster Street to Grant Street, under Improvement Resolution.' No. 221e signed by H.N.Barnes as primiej�pal and George W. Whitmax and Thomas C.. Barn.es as sureties, was approved .by the Board. Contracts for' Pipe sewer on Quimby Street from Eddy Street to. Ix the matter of the awarding of bids for water connections on Brick Avenue ,under., impeove— ment resolution No. 249.
