Board met in regular session at 10:00 A.M. All members p'resen.t. Bids were received and opened on the following improvements: - Pipe sewer on Quimby Street from Eddy Street to Francis Street, under improvement Resol- ution No, 241. V/Dunham Street,sewer system, under improvement Resolution No. 244. Trunk sewer on Mishawaka Avenue from. St. Joseph River to .16th. , Street, under improvement resolution, No. 245. Trunk sewer on In,dian.a Avenue ffirom Kemble Avenue to Franklin Avenue, under improvement resolution No. 243. Grade, curb and walk on Broadway from Franklin Street Past to Vandalia R:R. Under Improve- ment Resolution No. 246. All of the above were referred to the City Civil Engineer for tabulation to be reported bank Friday May 16th.21913. ,/In the matter of grade, curb and walk and pavement on Prairie Avenue from Webster to Grant streets, under improvement Resolution No. 221. Excavation Bond of One Thousand ($l�000.00)Dollars signed by Charles Baumann as prini- eipal and American Surety Co mpany of New York as sureties, was approved by the Board. The following intersections were approved by the Board. /Ixterseetioxs at the corner of St. Louis Street and Madison Street. „/Intersections of Marion and Taylor Streets southwest corner. Gentlemen: - We hope to start within a few days to construct the track on. South Michigan Street to Oakside Street, as per resent contract entered into with your Board in the City of South Bend for the purpose of eonneetixg with the Vandalia Railroad. Will.' ,you kindly advise as to whether or not you desire us to construct the track on. Oakside ,treet and to the Vandalia right -of -Ray at the same time.
