All members present. <br />Hearing had on Resolution f9r the condemnation of lots 19,20,21,22, <br />?39 24, 25 and 26 South Bend City ftzkal,Addition under Condemnation Resolution <br />rlo. 80. It <br />Property owners appeared and remonstrated but no written remon- <br />strance was filed. Hearing continued to Wed. Nov. 28th., 1923 at 7:15 P.M. <br />a <br />Hearing had on assessment rolls and.final estimates as follows:- <br />Cement curb on Division Street, Huron Street,'Ford Street,, Dunham <br />Street, Sample Street, Dundee Street and Camden Street all in Summitt Place Fifth <br />Addition under Improvement Resolution No. 1229. <br />No remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrances were filed. <br />The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said roil filed Nov. 13,192 <br />1923 istbenefited in the amounts as shown on said roll, and the Board further <br />find, that the assessment roll filed November 13th., 1923 and the final estimate <br />allowed Nov. 13,1923 should be and the same are hereby in all things ratified, <br />confirmed and approved. <br />Hearing had on assessment roll andfinal estimate fbr cement side- <br />walk and grading on Division Street, Huron Street, Ford Street, Dunham Street, <br />Sample Street, Dundee Street Camden Street all streets in Summitt Place 5th. Add. <br />under Improvement Resolution Ito. 1184 <br />Nc remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance was filed. <br />The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said roll filed No.v 13, 1 <br />1923 is benefited in the amounts as shown on said roils, andand the Board fr <br />furthF)r find, that the assessment roll filed November 13th., 1923 and the final <br />estimate allowed November 13th., 1923 should be and the same are hereby in -all <br />things ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />Property owners and members of the River Park Civic Association <br />appeared and requested that a Hose Douse be built in River Park. Na action taken. <br />Bids were received opened read on the Streets in North Shore Terrace <br />2nd. Addition grade, curb and walk improvement. Bids submitted by Highways Impt. <br />Company. ( See files for original bids.) <br />Bids for grade, curb and walks on Streets in Monroe Park Addition <br />submitted by Highways Impt. Company and Alex Bukowski. ( See files for original <br />bids.). <br />Contract for grade, curb and valk on Streets in North Shore Derrace <br />2nd. Addition awarded toHighways IV*t. -Co. at bid received. <br />Contract for grade, curb and walk on Streets in Monroe Park Add. <br />ewarddd to Alex Bukowski at bid received. Total contract price $64:797.00 <br />Chief Lane requested to see that gasoline pump which is an obstruc- <br />tion on the sidewalk in front of the place of business of the 20th. Century <br />garage on Lafayette Blvd is removed as per letter of City Attorney dated Nov. 19, <br />1923. Clerk instructed to write to Chief Lane, in regard to same. <br />Hearing had on assessment roil and final estimate for sheet asphalt <br />pavement on Lafaytte Street from Marquette Avenue to Wakewa Avenue and Marquette <br />Avenue and Wakewa Avenue from Lafayette to Iroquois Street, under Improvement <br />Resolution No. 1111. <br />.Engineer oddered to submit a corrected assessment roll apportion- <br />igg cost against abutting property, instead of against Park and hearing is hereby <br />continued to Wednesday Nov. 28th., 1923 at 7:15 P.M. Clerk instructed to send <br />out new notices to property owners. <br />Engineer filed assessment roils and final estimates as follows: - <br />Grade, curb and walk on Garland Street , west of Harriet Street <br />from South Bend Avenue to South.line of Parker and Allen's Addition and south <br />of South Bend Avenue 9 Harriett Street to Jacob Street. <br />
