Board met in regular session at 7:15 P.M..All members present. Hearing bAd an Resolution for pavement on Sunnyside Avenue from Washington Avenue to Lai Salle Avenue, under Improvement. Resolution No. 1228 In the City of South Bend, Indiana. Upon said hearing no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance was filed. The Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to the estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on said resolution -as originally adopted, and the same is hereby in all things, ratified, cnfirmed and approved. Resolved further, that notices be published on- the 21st. day of July 1923 and on the 28th.. day of July 1923 in the South Bend News Times and Tribune In said City stating 'that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvement up to 10:00 A.M. Tuesday August 7th.9 1923. The Board res rues the right to reject any and all bids, Property owners residing an Randolph Street appeared before the Board and requested that petition for improvements on said street be.rejetted. Same rejected and placed on file. ' City Engineer filed the following assessment rolls and final estimates. Engineer filed assessment roll and final estimate for pipe serer on Fellows Street from Calvert -Street to Donald Street, under Improvement, Resolution No. 1083 :tnxxi:x In the City .of South Bend, Indiana. Resolved that notices.ae to the assessments be published on the 24th. day of July 1923 and on the 31st. day of July 1923 in the South Bend News Times and Tribune in said City, stating that this Board will give a hearing on the amounts of such assessments at its office in the City Hall on the 8th. day of August 1923 at 7:15 P.M.
