<br />on Eying Avenue from Michigan Street:to St. „oseph-Street,'in the City of South Bend,,

<br />Upon said hearing no remonstrators appeared Rnd no written remon-
<br />strance was filed. Tha Board being ;fully advised in the premises, decides that
<br />the benefits to pro ety liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to the
<br />-stima,ted cost of the same, as reported by the ;,City Civil. Engineer, and thereupon
<br />takes final action on said resolution as originally, adopted and the same is hereby in.
<br />all things ra,tifSed, confirmed and approved.
<br />Resolved further, that notices'be published o'n the 21st. dory of
<br />July 1923 a,nd on the 28th. day -of July 1923 in the South Bend Daily Tribunenend `
<br />News Times in said City, stating that this Board will receivebids for the construction
<br />of said improvement up to 10:00 A.A. Tu.ard,-),y August, 7th., 1923. The Board
<br />reserves the right to rejec t dny and all bias.
<br />Hearing given on Vacation Resolution No. 77 for the Vacation
<br />of Tutt Street from the west line of.the alley wrest of Lafayette Street io Prairie
<br />Avenuw, in the City of South Bend, Indiana '
<br />In the above matter Atty. Strickland and'Wm. Austin representing
<br />the ftudebaker Corporation the petitioners present, but no remonstrators appeared
<br />and no written remonstrance was filed. The Board therefore after due consideration
<br />decided to sustain all former action taken, and declare the above described property
<br />In all things vacated and this resolution in all things ratified, confirmed and
<br />approved.
<br />.Resolved further that the City Engineer be instructed to prepare
<br />a roil showing awards of damages and assessments of benefits to all parties and pro-
<br />perties interested in the above matter.

<br />of O'Brien Street from Mayr s Michigan Avenue Addition to Elwood Avenue , in the City
<br />of South Bend, Indiana,
<br />• In the above master remonstratprs appeared but no -written remon-
<br />strance was filed. The Board therefore sustain all former action taken, and declare
<br />the above described property in all things, condemned and appropriated for public
<br />use and this resolution in all things , ratified, confirmed and approved.
<br />The Board further ordered that the City Engineer be instructed
<br />to prepare a roll of all owners or holders of property and valuable interests therein
<br />shught to. be taken or to be in juruogaly affected which list, or roll shall also des-
<br />cribe the property beneficially affected and show the awards of damages and assessments
<br />of benefits in the. above matter.

<br />Pleasant Street from 181h. Street to 19th., street under Improvement Resolution No.
<br />1090. In the City of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no written
<br />remonstrance was filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said
<br />roll filed June 12th., 1923 is bene,=fitted in the amounts as shown on said roll
<br />and the Board further find, that the assessment roll filed:,June 12th.1, 1923 R.nd the
<br />final astiale allowed June 12th., 1923 should be and the same are hereby in ali things
<br />ratified, confirmed and approved.

<br />water connections on Bowman Street from Miami Street to Leer Street, under_ Improvement
<br />Resolution No. 1143. fnrthe City of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no written
<br />remonstrance was filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said
<br />roil filed June 12th., 1923'is benefitted in the amounts as shown on said roll, and the
<br />Board further find, that the assessment roll*filed June• 12th.,- 1923 and the final
<br />stimate allowed June 12th.9 1923 should be and the same are hereby in all things
<br />ratified, confirmed and approved.
