<br />The _work of making such improvement shall be completed according to the terns of this contract on or

<br />And it is agreed that any such erten!zion of time, or anv alteration of this contract or of the manner or meth-

<br />It is agreed that the contractor shall not assign this c'sr tract, or sub -let the work or any part thereof to

<br />preference in the employmr_nt of all labor necessary in the performance of this contract, and failing to do so,
<br />shall forfeit to the city the sum of ten dollars for each failure to observe this, stipulation.
<br />pAnd upon the performance of all the terms and conditions of this contract, and things to be done and
<br />erformed by said contractor the said city agrees to cause the cost of doing such work to be assessed, col-
<br />lected and paid to said contractor in the manner fixed by the statute governing the making of such improve-
<br />meats.

<br />City Engineer took up matter of raising grade on Lincoln
<br />Way West where Street Car company is constructing new X±de switch tracks. Board
<br />ordered that grade be raised and also six (6) feet outside of rail.
<br />Board had up matter of completing gradizig out in Weidler's
<br />Addition as agreed to by Mr. Charles Weider with Mr. "Jeidler, so that George Pontareili
