Inspector reported on complaint.about pole at N. E. corner of
<br />Dubail Avenue and Prairie Avenue as follows: --
<br />This is an American Telephone and Telew
<br />graph Co. pole end whould be reset to the north about, 18 feet and this work should
<br />be done at once so the, pavement will be laid. Same approved and Clerk instructed
<br />to notify A. T. &*T.'Co. to reset pole.

<br />Riley Place received and approved as follows: -

<br />The following resolutions were adopted by the Board.
<br />STREET OR ALLEY IMPP.OVIIIENT RESOLUTION NO. 1234.
<br />Be it Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South,
<br />Bend, St. Joseph County, State of Indiana, That it is desired and deemed necessary
<br />to improve Indiana Avenue from Prairie Evenue to Olive Street as follows, topwit:-
<br />Said avenue shall be graded and the roadway thereof shall be
<br />paved, and also the roadway of certain portions of the streets and alleys which
<br />nter or intersect said avenue shall be graded and paved. The paving material to be
<br />used in making said improvement shall be sheet asphalt, bitulithic, Asphaltic concrete
<br />brick.or portland cement concrete pavement seven (7) inches thick, and the foundation
<br />shall be portA,aadd cement concrete six (6) inches thick for the Sheet asphalt,
<br />bitulithic, asphaltic concrete and brick or rolled gravel six (6) inches thick for the
<br />brick, also cement curb shall be constructed along said street where same is necessary
<br />and no already construced, manoies, storm water inlets and conduits shall be construct
<br />where necessary, all manhole tops and storm water inlets shAli be .set to the proper
<br />grade, cement marginal curb snail be constructed at all street and alley intersections
<br />,where necessary, all as is more particularly shown and all in accordance with the
<br />plans, profiles, det*ail•drawings and speicifcations on file in the office of the
<br />Department of Public Works of the City, of South Bend, Indiana.
