Spare Parts Kit: includes pressure switch, flow switch, stainless steel qc's nozzles <br />steam burst disc, adjustable thermostat, (25) 1/8" & (25) 1/4" viton O-rings, (2)- <br />10' berms (1) 5 sand berm, 12 " vacuum scupper tool & filter wrenches. <br />General Requirements <br />Bidder <br />Qualifications: it is the intent of these specifications to acquire the described equipment <br />from a bonafide utility fleet service establishment with experience in <br />providing similar equipment to the utility industry, and capable of <br />providing complete and complex service locally. <br />Name Plate: All control functions, levers, buttons, switches, etc., shall be clearly <br />labeled as to their function and position using permanent type markers. <br />Plastic peel -and -stick "label maker" tape is not acceptable. <br />Manuals: The successful bidder shall furnish two (2) copies of parts, service, <br />maintenance, and overhaul manuals covering the complete unit upon <br />delivery of the equipment to South Bend, IN. <br />Warranty: Unit to carry full one year warranty. Travel outside the City limits of <br />South Bend for warranty repairs will be the responsibilities of the <br />successful bidder and must take place within next normal work day. <br />Compliance with <br />Specifications: Your bid must be in strict compliance with the specifications, and offer the <br />same equal equipment. Exceptions are to be listed separately, otherwise, it <br />is fully understood that the equipment offered is exactly as specified. <br />Use of Brand Names <br />& References: Unless otherwise stated, the use of manufacturer's name and product are <br />for descriptive purposes, and establishing general quality levels only. <br />They are not intended to be restrictive. <br />Bidders are required to state exactly what they intend to famish; otherwise <br />it is fully understood they shall furnish all items as stated. <br />Brochures & <br />Literature: Your proposal must be accompanied by descriptive literature, marked and <br />indicating the exact items to be furnished.
