Electrical <br />1. <br />A mobile controller with control center and an In Sight display <br />YE6) <br />shall be provided to monitor system functions and operation of the truck. <br />This controller shall be able to withstand the vibration, moisture, dirt <br />ingress, and climate variations that are present in the cab of the vehicle. <br />2. <br />The controller shall use solid-state technology with no mechanical relays or <br />YEe <br />switches inside the controller. This controller shall use IEC 61131-3 software <br />and will have SAE J 193 9 built into the controller for communication to the <br />vehicle powertrain. The mobile controller shall be installed inside the truck <br />cab and shall display self -diagnosing error codes in readable text format <br />which identify the potential trouble source. Both audio and text alerts must <br />be made available to aid in locating trouble source. Programmable logic <br />controllers with mechanical relays shall not be permitted. <br />3. <br />The mounting of cam type strikers to the arm cross shaft tube that will <br />(�Dxo <br />provide a proximity sensor a signal that will be used for arm position <br />sensing are not permissible. <br />4. <br />All electrical wiring connectors to be automotive double -seat, with wiring <br />0 <br />in split convoluted loom. A hopper light illuminating the hopper area shall be provided and controlled 9NO <br />by an on/off switch in the cab. <br />J. Functionality <br />1. The operator shall be able to switch the unit in between Manual Lift and Y DES 0 <br />Auto Lift Modes by selecting the Auto -Lift Enable switch on the control <br />panel. <br />2. The operator shall be able to AutoLift the container by pressing the red YES/O <br />button on the side of the joystick. This function shall be enabled when the <br />right had drive and the Curotto enable is selected. <br />3. The unit shall be able to be placed in 3 different modes of operation. <br />a. Manual operation - includes forward and rearward movement of the 0 <br />joystick that controls the arms up and down. The left and right <br />movement of the joystick controls the forks up and down and does <br />include an interlock that prevent the container from being rolled into <br />the cab through the use of the in rod sensor that provides the Cortex <br />controller with the location of the forks. <br />19 <br />
