<br />y STREET OR ALLEY IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 1224
<br />Be it Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of Soli k.
<br />Bend, St. Joseph!County, State of Indians, that it is desired and deemed
<br />necessary to improve Alley south of Thomas Street from Chapin Street to Leruel
<br />Street as follows, to -wit: -
<br />Said alley shall be graded and the roadway theregf
<br />shall be paved; also the roadway of certain portiwns-of the streets and alleys
<br />-which outer or intersect said alley shall bo graded and paved. The -paving
<br />material to be eased in making said improvement shall be Sheet asphalt, bitulith
<br />asphaltic concrete, brisk or portland cement concrete seven (7) inches thick
<br />and the foundations shall be portland cement concrete six (6) inches thick for
<br />the'sheet asphalt, bitulithies asphaltic concrete and brick, or rolled grave
<br />six (6) inches thick for the brick, storm water inlets and oondutis shall be
<br />constructed where necessaatyy;-all storm water inits and manhole tops shall be
<br />set to the proper grade; cement marginal eurh shall be constructed at all stret
<br />and alley intersections where necessary, all as is more particularly shown and
<br />all in accordance with the plans, profiles, detail drawings and -specifications
<br />on file in the Office of the Department of Public Works of the City.of South
<br />Bend, Indiana.

<br />Resolved by the Beard of Public Works of the City of South
<br />Bend, County of St. Josephs State of Indiana, That the construction of a local
<br />sew*rs' intended and ddapted only for local use by the property handers whose
<br />property abuts thereon., and not intended or adapted for receiving sewerage
<br />from collateral drains, be and the same is hereby ordered in and along Otsego
<br />Street from Pokagon Street .to• Angell& Avenue as follows, •ti-wit:-

<br />the intersection of the center line of Pokagex Street and Otsego Streetl thence
<br />northerly alon -the center -line of Otsego Street to a point 20 feet south of
<br />the south line of Angella•Avenue with a 10 inch vitrified pipe sewer. together
<br />with the necessary manholes, stone water inlets, conduits and house connections
<br />to the curb line sloag the line of said improvement, all as is more particular*
