Board met( in regular session at 7:15' P.M. All members prosent. Heaving bad on `Condemnation Resolution No. ?2 for the Opening of an alley in Frantz Addition, in the City of South Bend, Indians, In. the above matter Attorney C. R.,Mntgomery, Attorney Ed. Doran i6ty. Elmer Peak, Mrs. Cost►ella and Mr. Costello appeared and matter for opening of alley, discussed also remons tors appeared objecting to alley being opened. The Board after due consideration considered remonstrance filed April 17th„ 1923 and hereby refuse petition filed and rose - nd'res&ution for said opening of alley. Roaring hod on Resolution No. 1147 for the Paving of Kosciuszko Street from Division Street Word Street, in the City of South Bend, Indiana. Upon said hearing remonstrators appeared but no written remonstrance was filed; The Board being fully advised in the promises, decides that the benefits bproperty liable to. be assessed for said Improvementare equal to the esttrted goat of the same, as reported by the, City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action nsaid resolution as originally adopted and the same is hereby.in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. Resaved further, that notices be published on the 5th. day of May 1923 and on the 12th. day of May 1923 in the South Bend hews Time and Tribune, in South Bend. Indiana and in Indianapolis Star, Indianspolis, Ind isna once, stating that this Board 'will receive bids for the construction of said improvement up to 10= 00 A.B. Tuesday ye►y 22nd, 1923 The Beard reserves the right to, re ject any and all bids. Hearing had on Improvement Resolution No. 1146 for the Paving of Huey Street from Washington Avenue to Linden Avenue, in the City of South Bend, Indiana. Upon said hearing no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance was filed; The Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that the benefits to property . liable to be assessed for said irVrWvement. are equal to the estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on said resaution as originally adopted and the same is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. - Resolved further that notices be published on the 5th. day of May 1923 and on the 12th. day of May 1923 in the South Bend Haily Tribune and Nears Times, in South Bend, Indiana and once in the Indiampoiis, Star, Indiampolis, Indiana, stating, that this Bard will receive bids for the construction of said improvement up to 10:00 A. Upon said hearing no remonstrators appeared . and no written remonstrance was filed.
