9`L <br />Petition for light on Cleveland Avenue at the corner of California_ <br />Avenue Inspector reported that no light necessary. Report approved. - <br />Inspector reported that are light now standing pry Michigan. Street <br />just south of Wakewa Avenue to the northwest corner of Wakewa Avenue west of the Park <br />Report approved. <br />Board are light placed on the pole now standing at southeast corner of <br />Rush Street, and Bronson Street. . <br />Communication received from Wm. Bender Jr. in regard to placing a light <br />11 <br />at Stop.No. 2 of the Northerla Indiana Ry. Co.:and Pokagon Street Harter Heights. <br />Same read and referred to the Inspector. <br />Concerning the improvement of Eckman Street from Michigan Street to <br />Fellows.:Street with asphalt, asphaltic eoxerete, bitulithie, eeenerete or brick, in <br />pursuance to Resolution No.,11X3 the Board finds that no petitions has been filed <br />with said Board by A may jori-,y is number of the freeholders residing on said street to <br />be improvedq requesting that it be improved witj a different kind' of pavement than th <br />the kind heretofore adopted by the Board in its preliminary order; and the City E <br />Engineer reports that the Harry N. Barnes is the lowest,aand best bidder for the kind <br />of pavement adopted by the Board, and the Board.finds that Harry N. Barnes is the <br />lowest and best bideer and hereby lets the contract for said improvement to them,* <br />and orders that said improvement be made with asphaltic eoneret,e, using Mexican asph& <br />asphalt, and all proceedings- heretofore had in this matter are hereby confirmed and <br />ratified, <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS.
