SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 1165.
<br />Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South BelTd, St.
<br />Joseph County, State of Indiana, That, it is deemed .necessary to improve Wall Street from
<br />Clifford Court to Twelfth Street and from Sixteenth Street to Nineteenth Street as follows,
<br />to -wit: -
<br />Said street shall be graded from property line" to property line to the established
<br />grade, and Bement, sidewalk and cement curb shall be constructed on b4h sides of said
<br />Wall Street. All as is more particularly shown and all in accordance with the plans,
<br />profiles, detail drawings and specifications on file in the Office of the Department of
<br />Public Works of the City of South. Bend, Indiana.
<br />in accordance with the plans, profiles, detail drawings and specifications
<br />on file in the office of the Department of the Board of Public Works of said
<br />City; and such improvement is now ordered.
<br />The cost of said improvement, iricluding the cost of street and alley
<br />intersections, shall be� as!F:.essed- uron the real estate abutting on said

<br />General Assembly -of the State of indima. Assessments, if deferred, 'are to be
<br />paid in ten equal annual installments, with interest at the rate of Six per
<br />cent per annum., A bond or bonds shall be issued to the contractor in payment
<br />of such work, unless the property owners pay said assessment before said bond
<br />or bonds are issued. Under no crcvm^t�nces shall. the City of South Send, be,
<br />or be held responsible for any sum or sums, due from said property owner or
<br />owners for said work or for the collection of the same, or for the payment of
<br />any bond,, bonds,` ee:�tifieate or certificates, issued to said contractor in pay-
<br />ment for such work, except for such moneys .as shall have been actually vot
<br />ceived by the City from the assessments for suohimprovemout, or such moneys
<br />as said City is by said above entitled Act rewired to °pe,Y. All, p oeodiAlK1 4

<br />Joseph County, State of Indiana, That it is deemed necessary to improve Hastings Street
<br />from Clifford Court to Twelfth Street and from Sixteenth Street to Nineteenth Street
<br />as follows, to -
<br />wit: -Said street shall be graded from property line to property line to the
<br />established grade, and cement sidewalk and cement curb shall be constructed on both sides
<br />of said Hastings Street. All as is more particularly shown and all in accordance with the
<br />plans, profiles, detail drawings and specifications on file in the Office of the Department
<br />of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana.
