Wednesday March 28th.1 1923. Continued. <br />Hearing had on improvement Resolution No. 1122 for the grads, curb andws <br />walk on Clyde Street from Indiana Avenue is Ewing Avenue, in the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana. <br />Upon said hearing no remonstrators appealed and no written remonstrance <br />was filed. And the Board being fully advised in the premises. decides that the:bEnefits <br />to the property Iiabel to the assessed for said improvement are equal to the estimated <br />cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final <br />action on said resolution.as originally adopted and the same is hereby.in all things <br />ratified, confirmed and approved . <br />Resolved further that notices.be published on the 30th. day of March 1923 <br />-%nd on the 6th. day of -April 1923 in the South Bend News Times and Tribune, in said City, <br />stating that this Boards will receive bids for the construction of said improvement up to <br />10:00 A. M. Tuesday April 17th., 1923. The Board resrges the right to re jest any and all <br />bias. <br />Hea-ring had on improvement Resolution No. 1103 for the Pavement, of the <br />alley west of William Street from Wayne Street to the first alley north.of. Wayne Street <br />under Improvement Resolution No. 1103. In the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />Upon -said hearing no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance <br />was filed. The Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that the benefits <br />to property liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal tothe estimated cost <br />of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on <br />said re solution ss originally adopted and the same is hereby in all things, ratified, <br />confirmed and approved. <br />Resolved further, that notices be published an the 30th, day of March 1923 <br />and -on the 6th, day of April.1923 in the South Bend News Times and Tribune, stating that <br />t1is Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvement up to.100:00 <br />A. M. Tuesday April 17t,y., 1923 The Board reserves the right to rejeet any and all <br />bids. <br />Hearing had �on roil .of -awards of daniages ; and assessments of benefi is <br />for the Vacation of.a part of ten (10)., foot slley in Wards SubDivision of lot 329 <br />and a part of let 328 in Cottrell's First Addition under Vacation Resolution No. 71. <br />In the City of South Bend, IndianQ. ' <br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance <br />vans filed. The Board therefore declared that the above mentianed.roll filed March 21st., <br />1923 is in all things ratified, confirmed and approved and these proceedings closed. <br />The following roll approved-: and the deed gr ng an easement or right of way over <br />a trianugiar shaped..-Iract by Erneuu L. Mossey and Marie Massey.his wife was also approves - <br />as follows:- ` <br />,n <br />VACATION OF LO FT. ALLEY IN WARD'S SUB. -DIVISION OF LOTS 329 and a PART <br />OF LOT 328 COTTRELL'S FIRST ADDITION as modified. <br />A ton (10) foot alley lying north of lot numbered 3 and 4 in Ward's Sub. Division <br />of lot 329 and a part of let 328 in Cottrell's First Addition as follows, .t,owwit:» <br />Beginning at the northeast corner of lot 4 in said Ward's Sub -Division; <br />thendi west 75 feet to the northwest earner of lot 3 in said Ward's Sub -Division ; thenee <br />north ten (10) feet.; thence east 75 feet; thence,soa h 10 feet to the place of beginning. <br />AT -THE MEETING OP THE BOARD MELD FEBRUARY 28th.91923 the OVE WAS <br />MODIFIED BY VACATING SAID ALLEY TO A POINT SEVENTEEN AN ON EHALF'(17-�) FEET BAST OF THE <br />WEST LINE OF DOT THREE (3) IN SAID WARD'S SUB$ DIVISION. <br />The Fit®wing property may be innuriously or bneficialiy affected. <br />by such vacation. <br />Benefits Damages <br />Ward's Sub -Division <br />of lot 329 and a part <br />of lot 328 in Cottrell's <br />lst.
