THE REGULAR "1fU,ETIN'G OF THE BOARD OF PT?BLT0 SAPEV WAS HELD IN THE BOARDS <br />OFFICE Monday October :18th.19M <br />PresIdent Englecirum was n o present an the meeting was called to order <br />by Vise President Reeder at 4:10 P.M. <br />Motion prevailed to dispense with the reading of the minutes <br />of the last regular meeting. <br />FIR DEPT. <br />B 11s 7 q to c) were approved and ordered paid. <br />Fire Chief Knoblock 'was in New Orleans attending the Nation Convention of <br />Fire Chiefs. <br />Motion prevailed to accept and place on file the application of John C. <br />Borkowski for the Fire Dept. <br />ELECTRICAL' DEFT. <br />Motion prevailed to accept and place on file the weekly report of Supt.Qualle <br />DEPT OF WEIGHTS AND h1EASURES <br />Motion prevailed to accept and place on file the weekly report of City <br />Sealwr Burns <br />POLI DEPT <br />Bills # '13 to SD were approved and ordered paid. <br />Motion prevailed to accept and place on file the applications of Chas. Mr. Nicely was not pres <br />Motion prevailed to dispense with the reading of the minutes of the last <br />regular meeting. <br />FIRE DEPT. <br />Bills /� to # /f3 were approved and ordered paid. <br />Motion prevailed to accept and place on file the applications of John <br />Szorwa.rk, and Ira Hun.sberger. <br />Motion prevailed to prospone the reading of Chief- .,Knoblocks report'of <br />the Fire Chiefs convention at New Orleans until the next regular meeting. <br />Motion prevailed't:o refer R.C.Blanchard whose car was damaged by a Fire <br />dept. truck on Oct. 25th. 1926 to City Attorny Romig., <br />ELECTRICAL DEPT. <br />Motion prevailed to accept and place on file the weekly report of Supt. <br />Qualls for week •ending Oct. 23rd., 1926. <br />Motion preva led•to allow Supt. Qualls to employe a janitor at 85.00 per <br />z month for the hinter months to keep up the fires at the Alarm Station. <br />DEPT OF WEIGHTS AND MEASURES <br />Motion prevailed to accept "and place on file the weekly report of City <br />Sealer Burns for the.;,week ending Oc•t. 23rd. 1926. <br />POLICE DEPT. <br />_ Bills # 1 to 7 were, approved and ordered paid. <br />Motion prevailed to accept and place on file the applications of Horace D. <br />Richardson, Ralph Noggle, Lester McCullom, W ,L.Bleck,Carl R. Stoneburne-r. <br />Motion prevailed to enter into 'a contact with-William She owner of the <br />Poloror Garage in the Poloffor Bldg. for the rent of space for 12 cars, <br />including heat, light, and use of the wash rack for the months•of November <br />December, January, February, and March for the. sum of $500.°00. . 8100., ,of <br />which is to be paid in advance before the first of each month. <br />11otion P revailed to order Jiff Chief Hatt to issue an order , <br /># to the public that destruction of property on Halloween <br />Night will not:be tolerated and that all officers should be. instructed to <br />see that all prop erty is protected. ## <br />Attest. <br />er o oar _r den of Board. <br />
