Louis Lederer be premoted to <br />Captain same to take effect July 1925. 15th. <br />ELELCTRICAL DEPARTMENT :- <br />REOUSITIONS PRESENTE) & APPROVED. <br />Numbers 557 -to 563 'inclusive were approved. <br />Supt. Qualls presented iveeekljz report for theweek ending July 9th. <br />WEIGHTS & MEASURE DEPAR TRIN T : - <br />Reed I. Hawthorne, presented monthly report for the month of <br />June and weekly report for the week ending July 10th. 1925. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT:- <br />REQUISTT,IONS PRESENTED & APPROVED. <br />Numbers 2182 to 2198 inclusive were approved.. <br />Officer J. C. Myers, appeared before the board to explain the <br />accident he had on the night of •inly dth. at the corner of Division <br />and:So. iiiioh Strs. dames done to the Police Motorcycle were very <br />small the officer being exenorated and caution about fast driving. <br />The Board. went into session as a trial body to hear the following <br />charges which were prefered against officer Forrest D. Clark, charges <br />as follows:- <br />July 7th. 1925. <br />To the Board of Public Safety, <br />of the City of South Send.. <br />I, the undersigned, heiarby prefer the following; charges against <br />pattrolman Forrest D.Clarkm a member of the Police Department of <br />said City. I charge that on the6th. day of July 1925, the said named <br />officer committed an assault upon me without just.cause or provocation <br />I futhur allege that at said time, III was not committing any breach <br />of peace and that I was in a place where I had a legal right to be. <br />(Signed.
