Friday May 22, 1925 Office oi' the Board of Public 'Safety, 77 <br />meeting called to otder at 5 A1.1.memebrvsbbilffgpp$s sent - <br />minutes of 'previors meeting were read afff ap oved - , <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT; - REQUSSITIONS PRESENTED AND APPROVED <br />Numbers 1054 to 1056 inclusive were approved. <br />EMEMIRRIOAL DEPARTMENT : - <br />REQUISITIONS PRESENTED & APPROVED. <br />Numbers 508 to 513 inclusive were approved. <br />WEIGHTS & MEASURE DEPARTMENT:- <br />Mr. Reed I. Hawthorne, being out of city on vacation no reports <br />were received from this department. <br />POLICE DE PARTMENT:- <br />Motion prevailed that an o di auce be drawn that no parking <br />be allowed. on the east side of sheet and that the Busses <br />now using.Franklin streett be equested to use Lafayette street. <br />Mo prey to adjourn:- <br />AT ST: r PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD. <br />\_ CZERK OF THE BOARD? <br />Friday May 29th. 1925. Mr. Dan Pyle, being absent. <br />.minutes of previous meeting were read and approved. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT:- REQUISITIONS PRESENTED & APPROVED. <br />Numbers 1057 to 1073 inclusive were approved. <br />Sealed bids were received for prices on 135 Tons. of Coal for <br />the different Fire Stations as Follows: <br />Harry. D. Ullery, Bou:th Bend, Ind. <br />Ind. 4th.'Vein 6x3 $5.25 ner Ton Delivered. <br />Harrisburg, Ill. 6x3 15.54 " " " <br />Nest Va. Eggs. 4x2 @$5.64 <br />IT it r <br />Schuyler Rose, South 'Bond, Ind. <br />Soverengin Coal 2x4 Egg t6.00 Per Ton..Delivered <br />Harrisburg Coal 6x3 Egg 3 5.90 " " <br />Walter C. Miller. R. Lontz <br />Motion prevailed that the contract be awarded to the Dan <br />Coal @o. , of this city for 315 Tons more or less to be delivered to <br />the different Fire Stations. Coal 6x2 furnace egg at $5.20 Per Ton. <br />ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT:- REQUISITIONS PRESENTED & APPROVED... <br />numbers 514 to 518 inclusive were approved. <br />Supt. Qualls, presented weekly report fot the week ending T;1ay28th. <br />IVEIGHTS &MEASURE DEPARTMENT.:- <br />Reed I. Hawyhorne, presented two, week ly reports for the week of <br />May 22nd amd "Say 29th. 1925. <br />POLICEDEPAR.TMENT:- REQUISITIONS RESENTED &APPROVED. <br />numbers 2111 to.2124 inclusive were approved. <br />Motion prevailed that the Bonds of officers J. C. Myers and <br />Pa*1 I.
