Crow, and Edward Luther, as surties, for One Thousand, <br />($1,000.00) was approved. <br />Motion prevailed that the Board of Public ':'forks, be petitioned <br />to have Are. lights errected at Six alley inteseection in the <br />down town section. <br />The followin men appeared before the Board and were questioned <br />regarding their applications for positions in the Police Department, <br />Ira. N. Williams, Mathew N. Me Kinkey, Paul Helmich, Geo. Voelkel, <br />John S. Price, 'Sm. Ortmann, V. S. Zoss, Alicy E. Snyder, but were not <br />appointed. <br />Potion prevailed that the following men who appeared before the <br />Board were appointed and informed that' -91g men who'passed the best <br />physical examinations would be accepted and that they were to being <br />duty as soon as possible.Homer Ames, Carl w.
