Qualls presented weekly report for the week ending <br />April 17th. 1924. <br />WEIGHTS. & 1EISURE DEPART14E NT: - <br />-Reed I. Hawthorne, presented weekly report for the week ending <br />April. 17th. 1924. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT:- <br />P.EQUSITIONS PRESENTED & APPROVED. <br />Numbers 1395 to 1428.Inclusive were approved. <br />- T,Totionfprevailed that the resigination of H. H. Henderson, <br />as a member of the Police Dept, was accepted on account of his <br />Physical condition. <br />Mtdon prevailed that Nelson F.. Jones, be appointed as a-.rmember <br />of the Police Dept. same to take effect from April 11th. as he <br />was on duty from this date. <br />T Motion prevailed that Harry L. Ambs, be reinstated. as a member <br />of the Police Dep't. he is to be reexamined and if accepted by the <br />Pension Board he is to be *in duty as Boon as possibdd. <br />Motion prevailed that the applications of Welter,Hood, Donald <br />Snyder, John Tarnocy, and Ididorl Van Hoke, for position in the <br />Police Dept. were accepted and order placed on file. <br />Motion prevailed that Chief Lane and the Clerk of the Board <br />be authoritized to rpurchhee chairs for the Squad room. <br />The folly ring men appeared before the Board and ivere questioned <br />regarding thier -applications for position in the ''olive Department <br />and were requested to fake the physical exa,mimation, Clarence <br />G. Schavey, Randall Audtin, A. H. 1:2c Callum, Frank C. Meisner, <br />Ernedt Nelson, Leo. D. Williams, William T. Taylor, Chas 'Futhrich <br />and Donald Snyder. alll men who passed the examinations arevto <br />beginduty as soon as possible, <br />The following also arneared be-for the Board and their applications <br />were order keep on .file, Walter J. Phillips, Lester Bestle, Walter <br />M. Celmer, , Ray E.
