Motion prevailed. that the application of '5m. 0. Gilm'ore for a.positiqnAnthe Fire 'Department be placed on file. and the applications, of Ed.• . D*-, Smith and 'Gilmord Nifong be rejected on account o.f being under si'z'e'.' The Board went into " session as a,'rilridl 13ody to hear the following charges which were prefered ,against " Areman Paul Klowetter, by Chief Sibrel., 1. The said Paul. Ylowetterf while on duty and subject to call as such h officer,. was on the -7th. day of Tetruary 1923. in an intoxicated condition. 2. That the said Paul Klowetter, while on duty and subject.to call as an officer of said Department, was intoxicated on the 27th. day od February 1923. and on the first lay of March 1923..was fined -One ($1.00) Dollar and costs in the City court of the City of Mishawaka, on said charge. The following; witnesses were duly examined:- Chief Sibrel.and Paul Klowetter. The Board the went into,execi)ti�_Te "session to consider evidence sub,nnitted, af6tr .0 a Public Hearing and submission of all the evidence the Board went into executive session-for the nurpose of considering all the evidence submitted, After due and eareful-consideration of all the evidence Submitted the Board found the said Pqul Klowetter guilty as charged and thereupon he was dismissed from the Pire Dept. of the City of South Bend, Ind. Motion prevail-4 that Alex C.
