Attached to the Addendum is a copy of the professional services proposal for Supplement #1 from Christopher B. Burke Engineering Ltd. to provide a variety of design and professional services related to this project. In August 2010, the Redevelopment Commission and the Board of Public Works approved the Resolution 2751 and the Addendum to the Master Agency Agreement for the construction and design elements of the project. The original scope of the project was to design a new intersection with dedicated turn movements at Ireland and High and to design a pedestrian trail connection and related lighting and streetscape improvements on the north side of Ireland from Fellows to Miami. As an outgrowth of the original project, and the purpose of this amendment, is to add additional design elements to this project. The amended scope includes the following: 1. Additional survey, sidewalk and curb design on Miami Street north of Erskine GC to Byron Drive. 2. Right of way engineering services for four right of way purchases necessary to completion of various project components. 3. Coordination of right of way dedication on the northeast corner of Fellows and Ireland. 4. Sidewalk design for Bowen Street from Miami to Martin's entrance. 5. Sidewalk design for section of walkway from JR Fox parcel to Alpine Drive and coordination of improvements of walkway to Byron Drive. 6. signage variance, design and coordination services related to Martin's signage located within the Ireland and High intersection, Erskine Park Golf Course signage at Ireland and Miami intersection and other signage coordination related to the project. Staff requests approval of Resolution 2844 and the Amendment To The Addendum To The Master Agency Agreement for the Ireland Road Improvements -Fellows to Miami -Supplement #1.
