Beaning presented report of work done by his depart - <br />ment during the week ending March 8th. 1922. <br />Mr. Beaning was requested to make investigations about a <br />new Police alarm system and to find a sutiable room in the <br />City Hall as a location for a new system and to submitt his <br />suggestion to the Board at some future time. <br />7E, I GR. Zane <br />as principal and O.A.Clark and Chester H. Montgamery as surties <br />dated January, 2nd. 1922 for the sum of One Thousand Dollars <br />be approved. <br />�dotion prevailed that Yr. Clement S. Smogor be appointed <br />vice - president of this board was approved. <br />11otion prevailed that the applications of Russel 0 Williams, <br />Casmier F. Gish, and John Gruse for positions in the police dapt- <br />a,rtment were ordered placed oij file. <br />Officer Joe Sweda appeared befor the -Board and was questioned <br />regarding his neglect for failure to arrest two automille tire <br />theives on the night of rTarch 5th. and Motion prevailed that he <br />be reauested to resign as a member of the 'Police dapartment. <br />Motion prevailed that John Stasinski be appointed as a <br />member of the - police department and. to report for duty as soon <br />as he' passed his ph3rsicial examination. <br />Two advertizing agents appeared_ befor the Board with a view <br />of securing ?permission to publish a book showing the photographs <br />of members of the Police department together with a nurraber of <br />advertizing pages in same and agreed to give one half of the <br />recei ,ots from the sale of such advertizing to the 'Police "pension <br />Fund but their request was not granted. <br />A report was read from Captain Schock stating the efficency <br />of the use of the Ford touring car to ;patrol the different posts <br />after midnight. <br />Motion prevailed. to Adjourn. <br />ATTE' . 4 'R�SIDriNT OF THE BAOIDD. <br />�e <br />CLERK OF THE BOARD. <br />
