FRIDAY, July 29th, 1921. Offioe Board of Public <br />S?fety. Meeting called to order at 5 P.M. President L. J. <br />Smith being absent. Vice Prps. Nelson H. Kyser acting as <br />Chairman of meeting. <br />Minutes of previous meeting approved. <br />Chief Sibrel presented'requisitions 1152 for supplies <br />and 1153 for repairs which were approved. <br />Surt. Beaning presented requisition no. 255 for <br />miscellenous expenses, freight, etc., which was approved. <br />Petitions were received from Julius V ^n Overwnlle <br />and Charles Turnock for appointment as policemen which were <br />placed on file. <br />notion prevailed that Lucius La Fortune be oDpointed <br />as a member of the Police De- nartment to begin duty on Aug. 1st, <br />1921. <br />Su-nt. Pukropp for posttion as <br />fireman was placed on file. <br />City Sealer tiller presented report for month of <br />July and presented requisition for lead seA.ls which was.appreved. <br />Supt. Beaning presented following renuisitions which <br />were spproved. <br />256 -- SA7 pries for the first half of Aug. 1921. <br />257 -- Rerairs for Ford eA.r, fan belt, wrench, etc.. <br />258 -- hardware supplies. <br />ArDlieations were received fro:v Charles Turnoek <br />Russel E. Meyers,. Thomas S. Gr %egorek and Erick W. Frappe for <br />appointment as policemen Rnd petition of 04hAx7 es Wrigzht for <br />re instatement which were all placed on filed. <br />Chief Kline reported that F., B. Curtis was hit <br />kilethe Police Ca,dillAc while riding a bicycle, injuring his <br />knee and ruining his trousers.
