REGULAR MEETING <br />APRIL 13, 1981 <br />some form of bid security had been submitted. The contractor would <br />be allowed a 48 -hour time period to substitute the required bid <br />security which, in this case, would be a certified check rather <br />than a bid bond. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the above bids were referred to Patrick McMahon, Director <br />of Redevelopment, and Sollitt Construction Company for review and <br />recommendation. <br />OPENING OF BIDS - STREET MATERIALS' <br />This was the date set for receiving bids for street materials for <br />the year 1981. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice <br />in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri- County News which were found <br />to be sufficient. Lenher. <br />Jr., non - collusion affidavit was <br />order and a certified check as <br />submitted. <br />$4.10 /bag for deliveries made <br />prior to July 1, 1981. <br />$4.30 /bag for deliveries made <br />after July 1, 1981. <br />Bid was signed by Peter H.
