E <br />REGULAR MEETING MARCH 2, 1981 <br />REOUEST TO HOLD PARADE - CHET WAGGONER LITTLE LEAGUE <br />In a letter to the Board, Mr. Daniel C. Detrieux, President of the <br />Chet Waggoner Little League, requested permission to conduct the <br />annual Chet Waggoner Little League Parade on May 16, 1981, starting <br />at 8:30 a.m., at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Michigan Street <br />and utilizing the same route as approved in 1980. Upon a motion <br />made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the <br />request was referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and <br />the Police Traffic Division for review and recommendation. <br />APPROVE LEASE AGREEMENTS FOR VEHICLES (MAYOR AND ATTORNEY) <br />Mr. Kernan advised that approval was needed on lease agreements with <br />First Bank Auto Lease for the lease of a 1981 Buick Skylark from <br />Gurley -Leep Buick to be used by the City Attorney at a cost of <br />$220.20 per month; and also a lease with N/D Leasing, Inc. for <br />the lease of a 1981 Oldsmobile Cutlass from Navarre Cadillac -Olds <br />to be used by the Mayor at a cost of $282.11 per month. Upon a <br />motion made by Mr. Kernan, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, <br />the lease agreements were approved. <br />APPROVAL OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN -UP OF LOTS <br />A request from the Neighborhood Code Enforcement Office was received <br />for permission to have city environmental crews clean the following <br />lots within the city: <br />ADDRESS CONDITION <br />1209 Lincolnway West Appliances, junk, oil containers <br />713 S. Kaley Litter, uncollected garbage & trash <br />823 W. Indiana Litter, junk, demolition remains <br />2418 W. Ford Uncollected garbage & trash <br />733 Bronson Uncollected garbage & trash <br />1129 N. Huey Litter, junk, uncollected garbage <br />907 Thomas Litter, garbage & trash dumped <br />2502 Poland Junk, uncollected garbage & trash <br />3419 S. Main Uncollected garbage & trash, <br />litter, appliances <br />710 W. LaSalle Junk inside garage <br />225 S. Chapin Litter in front yard <br />It was noted that property owners had been advised to clean up the <br />lots and had failed to comply. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, <br />seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the request was approved. <br />APPROVE EXCAVATION AND CONTRACTOR'S BOND - ZIOLKOWSKI CONSTRUCTION <br />Mr. Ray S. Andrysiak recommended Board approval of the Excavation <br />Bond and Contractor's Bond of Ziolkowski Construction following <br />his review of the bonds. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, <br />seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the above bonds were approved. <br />APPROVE CANCELLATION OF EXCAVATION BOND - SELGE CONSTRUCTION <br />Mr. Ray S. Andrysiak.recommendgd cancellation of the Excavation Bond <br />of Selge Construction, effective March 2, 1981. Upon a motion made <br />by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the above <br />bond was cancelled. <br />APPROVE HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMITS <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Mr. Kernan and <br />carried, the following handicapped parking permits were approved <br />and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance: <br />
