REGULAR MEETING MARCH 12, 2007 <br />family have been responsible citizens and own a business in the Northeast Neighborhood <br />for over forty (40) years. It is detrimental to try to find that middle ground for business <br />and neighborhoods to get along in the City of South Bend. Council President Rouse <br />stated that the Council should just give up granting any Special Exceptions, if they cannot <br />come together to grant this tonight based on the residential and economic issue that have <br />been mentioned. The Council has a responsibility to this Community to look at all the <br />issues and stand firm and make decisions based on what is best for this Community. <br />Councilmember Dieter made a motion to adopt this bill.
