REGULAR MEETING <br />MARCH 12, 2007 <br />Councilmember Rouse asked about the homes with the mold on them. He asked if they <br />are in the City of South Bend. <br />Mr. Pink responded absolutely. Go down 23 take a left on Locust look to your left. <br />There are four homes. They are built over the old swamp that used to be there 25 years <br />ago. They filled it over and build houses. <br />Councilmember Kuspa stated that they feel like they are being squeezed by multi-family <br />developments on both the North and South sides. The parcel in question is a particularly <br />residential area with a lot of wildlife and ponds. <br />Councilmember Kuspa made a motion for unfavorable recommendation to full Council <br />concerning this bill. Rouse presided with nine (9) members present. <br />BILLS -THIRD READING <br />ORDINANCE NO. 9742-07 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING <br />ORDINANCE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />3111 CORBY BLVD., COUNCILMANIC <br />DISTRICT 4, IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA <br />This bill had third reading. Councilmember Puzzello made a motion to consider the <br />substitute version of this bill. Councilmember Kelly seconded the motion which carried <br />by a voice vote of nine (9) ayes. Additionally, Councilmember Puzzello made a motion <br />to pass this bill as substituted. Councilmember Varner seconded the motion which <br />carried. The bill passed by a roll call vote of nine (9) ayes. <br />BILL NO. 4-07 PUBLIC HEARING ON A BILL AMENDING <br />THE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR PROPERTY <br />LOCATED AT 3811 LOCUST ROAD, <br />COUNCILMANIC DISTRICT NO. 6, IN THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />This bill had third reading.
