Stickler Contracting <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Hill and <br />carried, the above Bonds were approved, with the Bonds of Scott <br />and Associates and Consolidated Construction Company retroactive <br />to November 17, 1980, and the Bond of Richard A. Stickler <br />Contracting retroactive to November 21, 1980. <br />APPROVAL OF HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMITS <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Kernan and <br />carried, the following handicapped parking permits were approved <br />and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance: <br />Clarence E. Snyder, 405 Tonti Avenue <br />Auburn T. Garner, 617 Byrkit, Mishawaka <br />Gladys B. Furr, 706 Juniper Place <br />Mrs. Maureen Kay Steinhoffer, 2106 W. Hamilton <br />Anna M. Johnson, 16325 Fairfield, Granger <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT <br />The report indicated a total of 22 outages between the period of <br />November 3 through 18, 1980. Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, <br />seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the report was filed. <br />APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br />Chief Deputy Controller Michael L. Vance submitted Claim Docket <br />No. 21354 through No. 22184 and recommended approval. Upon a <br />motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, <br />the report was filed and the claims approved. <br />SCRAP AND JUNK PROBLEM REFERRED TO ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL OFFICE <br />Mr. Walter Szymkowiak, Second District Councilman, submitted a <br />letter to the Board concerning trash and junk problems being <br />experienced in an alley in his district. Upon a motion made by <br />Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the matter was <br />referred to the Environmental Control Office for follow -up. <br />REQUEST FOR SPEED CONTROL ON ORANGE - COLFAX CONNECTOR <br />A letter from Irene Sloboda, 204 North Jackson Street, was <br />submitted requesting the installation of speed control devices <br />on the Orange - Colfax Connector between Olive and Birdsell Street. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Kernan and <br />carried, the request was referred to the Bureau of Traffic and <br />Lighting for review and recomemndation. Mr. Walter M. Szymkowiak, <br />Second District Councilman, also requested the installation of <br />a traffic signal at Walnut and Colfax rather than the current <br />stop signs. Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by <br />Mr. Hill and carried, his request was referred to the Engineering <br />Department for review. <br />
