APPROVAL OF CONTRACTOR'S BONDS The following Contractor's Bonds were recommended for approval by Raymond S. Andrysiak: Jack 0. Scott and Joyce S. Scott, d /b /a Scott & Associates Ronald Moore, d /b /a Consolidated Construction Company Richard A. Stickler Contracting Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the above Bonds were approved, with the Bonds of Scott and Associates and Consolidated Construction Company retroactive to November 17, 1980, and the Bond of Richard A. Stickler Contracting retroactive to November 21, 1980. APPROVAL OF HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMITS Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the following handicapped parking permits were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance: Clarence E. Snyder, 405 Tonti Avenue Auburn T. Garner, 617 Byrkit, Mishawaka Gladys B. Furr, 706 Juniper Place Mrs. Maureen Kay Steinhoffer, 2106 W. Hamilton Anna M. Johnson, 16325 Fairfield, Granger STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT The report indicated a total of 22 outages between the period of November 3 through 18, 1980. Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the report was filed. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS Chief Deputy Controller Michael L. Vance submitted Claim Docket No. 21354 through No. 22184 and recommended approval. Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the report was filed and the claims approved. SCRAP AND JUNK PROBLEM REFERRED TO ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL OFFICE Mr. Walter Szymkowiak, Second District Councilman, submitted a letter to the Board concerning trash and junk problems being experienced in an alley in his district. Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the matter was referred to the Environmental Control Office for follow -up. REQUEST FOR SPEED CONTROL ON ORANGE - COLFAX CONNECTOR A letter from Irene Sloboda, 204 North Jackson Street, was submitted requesting the installation of speed control devices on the Orange - Colfax Connector between Olive and Birdsell Street. Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the request was referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting for review and recomemndation. Mr. Walter M. Szymkowiak, Second District Councilman, also requested the installation of a traffic signal at Walnut and Colfax rather than the current stop signs. Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, his request was referred to the Engineering Department for review.
