REGULAR MEETING JULY 21, 1980 The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at 9:30 a.m., on Monday, July 21, 1980, by President Patrick M. McMahon, with Mr. McMahon, Mr. Richard L. Hill and Mr. Joseph E. Kernan present. Deputy City Attorney Terry A. Crone was also present. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING APPROVED Upon a motion made by Mr. Hill, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the minutes of the regular meeting of July 14, 1930, were approved as submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the minutes of the emergency meeting of July 16, 1980, were approved as submitted. AGENDA ITEMS ADDED Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the following items were added to the agenda immediately following the public hearing on the house move to 619 West LaSalle: Communication from Mr. Ted Michalak concerning telephone work done in front of his home at 1221 West Sample Street in conjunction with Sample Street improve- ment project. Improvement Resolution for Barrett Law project - 1980 Storm Damage, curb and walk repairs OPENING OF BIDS CITY -OWNED VEHICLES This was the date set for receiving bids for thirty -six city -owned vehicles. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri- County News which were found to be sufficient.
