REGULAR MEETING OPENING OF BIDS - TIRE REPAIRS JUNE 23. 1980 This was the date set for receiving bids for tire repairs for city vehicles. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri- County News which were found to be sufficient. The following bids were opened and publicly read: Firestone Stores 502 South Michigan South Bend, Indiana The non- collusion affidavit was in order and a 10% bid bond was submitted; however, the bid itself was not signed. Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the bid of Firestone Stores was rejected because the bid was not signed. Singer General Tire, Inc. Bid was signed by Merl C. Fahler, 60885 U. S. 31 South non- collusion affidavit was in South Bend, Indiana order and a certified check in the amount of $1,000 was submitted.
