ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA APPROPRIATING $276,780 WITHIN FUND 212 FROM THE U.S. <br />DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT SHELTER PLUS <br />CARE GRANT PROGRAM <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br />In order to deliver services to seriously physically and mentally ill individuals <br />within our community, The City of South Bend received funds from the U. S. <br />Deparment of Housing and Urban Development for the delivery of such services through <br />various subgrantees. The funds appropriated in this ordinance will aid in defraying the <br />costs of housing and related services, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana: <br />SECTION I. The sum of $276,780 is hereby appropriated in Fund 212 and shall <br />be administered by the Department of Community & Economic Development and its <br />designated subgrantees as noted below: <br />Madiso .-- Center IN0087C511000901 $ 92,820 (9/8/10 - 9/7/11) Scattered Site <br />Madison Center IN0009C5H000802 $141,120 (08/1/10 - 7/31/11) Gateway <br />Madison Center IN0010C5H000802 $ 42,840 (8/29/10 - 8/28/11) Perm. Hsing <br />TOTAL $276,780 <br />SECTION II.
