Airport Economic Development Area <br /> <br />(1) continued… <br /> <br />Agency Agreement with the Board of Public <br />Works to have that work done. <br /> <br />CRN.2803 <br />Upon a motion by Ms. King, seconded by <br />OMMISSION APPROVED ESOLUTION O <br />APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION <br />Mr. Downes and unanimously carried, the <br />AMA <br />OF AN DDENDUM TO THE ASTER GENCY <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 2803 <br />A(1503/1505PA., <br />GREEMENT RAIRIE VE <br />approving and authorizing the execution of <br />DPP <br />EMOLITION LANNING ROJECT <br />an Addendum to the Master Agency <br />Agreement (1503/1505 Prairie Ave., <br />Demolition Planning Project. <br /> <br /> <br />(2) Consent to Modification of Deed <br />Restrictions (1915 N. Bendix) <br /> <br />Mr. Mathia noted that an Indiana non-profit <br />group, Carreer Academy of South Bend, <br />wants to establish a charter school in the <br />former PEI Genesis building on Bendix <br />Drive. They intend to purchase the property <br />from Appletree Associates, the real estate <br />holding company for PEI Genesis. The <br />property is located in the Airport Industrial <br />Park Phase I. The deed restrictions in that <br />park do not permit a charter school. <br />However, the deed restrictions can be <br />modified if 75% of the park’s property <br />owners agree to the modification. Career <br />Academy is trying to obtain agreement from <br />the property owners to modify the restriction <br />and permit operation of the charter school. <br />The school is asking the Redevelopment <br />Commission, successor to the original park <br />developer (the Industrial Foundation) to <br />approve its request to modify the deed <br />restrictions. The Academy is close to <br />obtaining the required 75% of property <br /> 10 <br /> <br />
