2010 Personnel and Finance Committee Annual Report <br />December 7, 2010 <br />Page 3 <br />As noted in the 2009 Annual Report, I believe that discussions with the City Administration <br />should continue on: <br />• Improved tracking of fees for services rendered by the various city departments and <br />improved tracking of payment for ordinance violations so that the Council has easy <br />access to such information <br />• Greater emphasis on cost-benefit analysis on all monetary requests submitted for <br />consideration by the Common Council <br />• Timely filing of information related to Bills filed with the Office of the City Clerk for <br />Common Council consideration <br />• Improved communications with the Redevelopment Commission prior to major TIF <br />appropriations <br />I would like to thank everyone for their input this year. It has been very challenging, however <br />with the recent update from the City Controller on the City of South Bend's bond rating, our <br />efforts and time commitments are bringing positive results.
