REGULAR MEETING DECEMBER 6 2010 381 <br />SUBDIVISION BOND CLAIM — JADE CROSSING SUBDIVISION <br />Mr. Gilot stated the Board is in receipt of a claim request from Mr. Tony Molnar, Engineering, to <br />request remaining funds from the Jade Crossing Subdivision's Bond for asphalt, miscellaneous <br />repairs and /or upgrades that are required for completion, be released to the City. The developer, <br />Jade Crossing, LLC, did not complete these items and has failed to return calls and all attempts <br />to reach them. Mr. Molnar stated the City is asking to have the funds released to them to pay to <br />have the work completed. Mr. Littrell stated since this project was bid out, prices have gone up <br />on materials and the City may not be able to cover the costs with the original bid amount. He <br />noted they may prefer to go through their Street Department to finish the remaining asphalt <br />work. Therefore, Mr. Gilot made a motion that the request for the Subdivision Bond to be <br />released to the City be approved.
