The <br />Board directed that the bid be returned to the bidder as it could <br />not be considered. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and <br />carried, the bids were referred to the Police Department and <br />the Controller's Office for review and recommendation. <br />OPENING OF BIDS - PRINTING OF PHOTOGRAPHS FOR DISCOVERY HALL <br />This was the date set for receiving bids for the reprinting of <br />photographs for Discovery Hall Museum. The Clerk tendered <br />proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune and <br />the Tri- County News which werefound to be sufficient. The <br />following bids were opened and publicly read: <br />Bagby Photographers <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Deputy City Attorney Terry A. Crone reviewed the bid and advised <br />the Board that the bid form was unsigned and should be rejected. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and <br />carried, the bid was rejected. <br />Schillings Printing Service <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Bid was signed by Charles <br />G. Schilling, non- collusion <br />affidavit was in order and a <br />certified check was submitted. <br />Bid - 2,038 prints @ $3.12 each - $6,358.56 <br />The Leiber Company Notification was received that <br />Indianapolis, Indiana the company could not submit <br />a bid on this project. <br />Tompsett Studio <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Bid - 2,038 prints - $4,585.50 <br />403 <br />Bid was signed by N. A. Tompsett, <br />non- collusion affidavit was in <br />order and a certified check was <br />submitted. <br />Magic Lantern Bid was signed by Wayne Zwierzynski, <br />South Bend, Indiana non- collusion affidavit was in <br />order and a certified check was <br />submitted. <br />Bid - 2,038 prints @ 1.50 each - $3,057.00 <br />
