SPECIAL MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 13, 1978 <br />A special meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at <br />9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 1978 by President Patrick <br />M. McMahon, with Mr. McMahon, Mr. Brunner and Mr. Mullen present. <br />Mr. McMahon explained that the purpose of the special meeting was <br />to approve the contract between the City of South Bend and Gerald <br />D. Hines Interests for a Development Manager Agreement for pro- <br />fessional services for a multi -use complex located in the block <br />bounded by Colfax, Michigan, Washington and St. Joseph Streets <br />in South Bend, Indiana. The contract has been reviewed by the <br />Board of Public Works and Mr. McMahon made a motion that the <br />contract be approved. Mr. Brunner seconded the motion and it <br />carried. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon <br />motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, <br />the meeting adjourned at 9:35 a.m. <br />In the absence of Patricia DeClercq, Clerk of the Board of Public <br />Works, I, Maryrose Putz, am assuming all responsibility for the <br />Board of Public Works meeting of September 13, 1978. <br />ATTEST: <br />Patricia DeClercq, Clerk <br />249 <br />
