The Clerk tendered proofs <br />of publication of notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri- <br />County News which were found to be sufficient. Mr. McMahon <br />pointed out that the purpose of this hearing was to hear anyone <br />who wished to comment on or question his assessment. All property <br />owners listed on the Assessment Roll received notice of this <br />hearing. There were no citizens present who wished to speak on <br />the matter. Construction of the sewers was done by the Taylor <br />Construction Company at a total cost of $16,290.90. Upon motion <br />made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, the Board <br />confirmed Assessment Roll No. 2982, as submitted, for the Prospect <br />Street Sanitary Sewers and directed that the St. Joseph County <br />Treasurer's Office, the City Controller's Office and the Board of <br />Wastewater Commissioners receive copies of the approved Assessment Roll. <br />1 <br />
