SPECIAL. MEETING <br />14AY 19, 1978 <br />A special meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at <br />1:55 p.m. on Friday, May 19, 1978 by Chairman Pro -Tem Peter H. <br />Mullen with Mr. Mullen and Mr. Brunner present. The Clerk <br />reported that the special meeting was posted and members of the <br />news media were notified. <br />APPROVAL OF CHET WAGGONER LITTLE LEAGUE PARADE <br />Mr. Mullen explained that the purpose of the special meeting was <br />to consider a request of the Chet Waggoner Little League to <br />hold a parade on Saturday, May 20, 1978. The route for the <br />parade is as follows: <br />Assemble at the Knights of Columbus Parking Lot at 8:30 a.m. <br />Parade to proceed south on Main Street to Navarre, west on <br />Navarre to Portage, Portage to Boland Drive, Boland Drive to <br />Riverside Drive and Riverside Drive to the Little League Park. <br />The Bureau of Traffic and Lighting submitted a report to the <br />Board indicating that the route has been reviewed with the <br />Police Department Traffic Detail and approval is recommended. <br />A police escort will be furnished. Upon motion made by Mr. <br />Brunner, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, the Board approved <br />the parade for the Chet Waggoner Little League, as outlined above, <br />subject to receipt of the required insurance. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon <br />motion made by Mr. Mullen, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, <br />the special meeting adjourned at 2:00 p.m. <br />ATTEST: <br />Patricia DeClercq, Clerk <br />ill <br />
