74 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />APRIL 10, 1978 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened <br />at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, April 10, 1978 by President Patrick <br />M. McMahon,. with Mr. McMahon and Mr.. Brunner present.. Deputy <br />City Attorney Terry A. Crone was also present. <br />AGENDA ITEM. ADDED <br />Mr. McMahon made a motion to add to the agenda a request to <br />advertise for bids for items for Discovery Hall Museum. ]`fir. <br />Brunner seconded,the motion and it carried. <br />MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING APPROVED <br />Mr. McMahon reported that the minutes*of the April.3rd meeting <br />had been reviewed and he made a motion that they be approved <br />as submitted. Mr. Brunner seconded the motion and it carried. <br />OPENING OF BIDS - STREET DEPARTMENT VEHICLES <br />This was the date set for receiving.bids for a number of vehicles <br />for the Bureau of Streets. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication <br />of notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri- County News,.whic,h <br />were found to be sufficient. The following bids were opened and <br />publicly read: <br />Deeds Equipment Company Bid was signed by John Brennan, <br />P. O. Box 26114 non- collusion affidavit was in order <br />Lawrence, Indiana and a loo bid bond was submitted. <br />Bid - One Huber Roller, Model T -58 -H - $20,987.20 <br />Michiana Mack Bid was signed by Ronald Delcamp, <br />2802 Home Street non- collusion affidavit was in order <br />Mishawaka, Indiana and a loo bid bond was submitted. <br />Bid - 1 1978 Mack Truck - Net $43,864.00 <br />Model DM487S <br />Reid- Holcomb Company, Inc.
