REGULAR MEETING MAY 12, 1980 for approval. The modification provided an administrative budget of $1,675 for costs associated with contract administration. It was noted that all other parts of the initial agreement remained unchanged. Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the above modifications were approved. STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT The report indicated five outages between the period of May 4, 1980, and May 6, 1980. The report was filed. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS Chief Deputy Controller Michael L. Claim Docket Numbers 8333 through Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, carried, the report was filed and Vance submitted for approval No. 8883 and recommended approval. seconded by Mr. Kernan and the claims approved. ROUTE FILED - INDIANA BLACK EXPO PARADE A request had previously been submitted to the Board for approval of a parade to be held in conjunction with the Miss Indiana Black Expo Finals in South Bend, June 20 -22, 1980. A representative of the organization was present and submitted to the Board the proposed route for the parade to be held on June 21, 1980, at 2:00 p.m., starting at Hansel Center to LaSalle Park. It was stated that this would be the first time the pageant was held in South Bend and it was expected that between 1,500 and 2,000 persons would attend for the three -day period. It was anticipated that the parade would consist of approximately 75 to 100 units. Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the request and route was referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and the Traffic Division of the Police Department for review and recommendation.
