<br />REQUESTS FOR BLOCK PARTIES (HASS DRIVE AND MATTHEWS LANE)
<br />A request for the following block parties was submitted:
<br />1300 and 1400 blocks - Matthews Lane
<br />Sunday, May 25, 1980 - 2 :00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
<br />Hass Drive from Rose Road to Kettering Drive
<br />Saturday, June 7, 1980 - all day
<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried,
<br />the requests were referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and
<br />the Traffic Division of the Police Department for review and recom-
<br />mendation.
<br />APPROVED SALE OF POPPIES - AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARIES
<br />The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 303 and the American Legion
<br />Auxiliary Unit 357 requested permission to sell veteran -made
<br />poppies on the public sidewalks May 16 and May 17, 1980. Upon a
<br />motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried, the
<br />requests were approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN -UP OF LOTS
<br />A request from the Environmental /Action Center was received for
<br />permission to have city environmental crews clean the following lots
<br />within the city:

<br />It was noted that the property owners had been advised to clean
<br />up the lots and had failed to comply. Upon a motion made by Mr.
<br />McMahon, seconded by Mr. Kernan and carried, the request was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF WEST SIDE MEMORIAL DAY PARADE
<br />Mr. Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and
<br />Lighting, submitted his recommendation for approval of the West
<br />Side Memorial Day Parade to be held on Monday, May 26, 1980. It
<br />was noted that the assembly area, parade route and end of parade
<br />de- marshalling area is the same as used in previous years. Upon
<br />a motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Hill and carried,
<br />the parade was approved.
