South Bend Redevelopment Commission
Regular Meeting –November 19, 2010

C. Airport Economic Development Area

(5) continued…

CA
Upon a motion by Ms. King, seconded by
OMMISSION APPROVED THE DMINISTRATIVE
$205,000
SETTLEMENT OF FOR ACQUISITION OF
Mr. Downes and unanimously carried, the
755S.MS.
ICHIGAN T
Commission approved the Administrative
settlement of $205,000 for acquisition of 755
S. Michigan St.

(6) Proposal for architectural services related
to relocation of Hell’s Angels.

Mr. Relos noted that on August 6, 2010, the
Commission approved an Administrative
Settlement to acquire 807 W. On October 1, the
Commission approved a $3,500 payment to
cover those costs.

It has now come to light that because the
club’s move into this building triggers a
“change in use”, it must be brought up to city
standards. What is needed to allow the club
to move forward with its relocation,
according to the Building Department, is to
have an architect do a floor plan, to scale,
that can be submitted down state for
approval. This floor plan needs to show the
current building layout with any city required
changes. Not until the state approves the
13
