M <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />JANUARY 7. 1980 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at <br />9:30 a.m., on Monday, January 7, 1980, by President Patrick M. <br />McMahon, with Mr. McMahon, Mr. Richard L. Hill and Mr. Joseph E. <br />Kernan present. Deputy City Attorney Terry A. Crone was also <br />present. <br />MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING APPROVED <br />Mr. McMahon reported that he had reviewed the minutes of the <br />regular meeting of December 31, 1979, and he made a motion that <br />the minutes be officially recorded and that the new Board members <br />endorse the same. Mr. Hill seconded the motion and it carried. <br />ELECTION OF PRESIDENT OF BOARD <br />Mr. Kernan made a motion that Mr. McMahon serve as President of <br />the Board, seconded by Mr. Hill. The motion carried. <br />OPENING OF BIDS - GASOLINE AND FUEL OIL <br />This was the date set for receiving bids for gasoline and fuel oil. <br />The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of notice in the South Bend <br />Tribune and the Tri- County News which were found to be sufficient. <br />The following bids were opened and publicly read: <br />Renco Oil Corp.
