The Board members agreed they would not object <br />to language written into the lease which would give Mr. Conboy <br />the right of first refusal of the lease is terminated. Upon <br />motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, <br />the Board approved the lease, subject to a modification of the <br />wording in the termination clause to be prepared by the Legal <br />Department to reflect that Mr. Conboy has the right of first <br />refusal should a third party become involved in either the lease <br />or sale of the property. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT <br />The Street Light Outage Report for the period of November 27 <br />to December 10 was submitted to the Board. The report indicated <br />thirty -four outages. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded <br />by Mr. Mullen and carried, the report was ordered filed. <br />CLAIMS APPROVED <br />Chief Deputy Controller Michael L. Vance submitted to the Board <br />Claim Docket Numbers 24287 through 24825 and recommended approval. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and <br />carried, Claim Docket Numbers 24287 through 24825 were approved <br />and the Board directed that checks for payment be issued. <br />EXTENSION OF LEASE WITH REAL SERVICES <br />The Board received a request from REAL Services, Inc. for an <br />extension of the lease of the premises at 622 N. Michigan. The <br />Board entered into a five year lease for the property to <br />REAL Services, with the lease to extend until July, 1983. Because <br />of state and federal regulations which require a ten year lease <br />if improvements are to be made, the Board is requested to <br />extend the lease for ten years. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, <br />seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, the Board approved an extension <br />of the lease until July, 1988 and directed that the Legal Department <br />be asked to prepare an addendum to the lease reflecting the <br />extension. <br />FILING OF NOTICE FROM HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT RE: SAMPLE STREET PROJECT <br />The Board received notice from the Indiana <br />regarding the planned improvement of Sample <br />to Chapin.
