REGULAR MEETING <br />LEASE EXTENSIONS FOR CETA VEHICLES APPROVED <br />OCTOBER 29. 1979 <br />Elroy J. Kelzenberg, Director of the Bureau of Manpower and <br />Training, submitted to the.Board extensions of lease agreements <br />with Medow Leasing, Inc. for two Dodge Aspens. The agreements <br />extend the leases for a period of one year, beginning October 1, <br />1979 at $75.00 per month, per vehicle, Deputy City Attorney <br />Terry A. Crone reviewed the extensions and recommended approval. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr Mullen and <br />carried, the lease exLensions were approved. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED <br />The Street Light Outage report for the period October 5 to <br />October 19 was submitted to the Board. The report indicated <br />sixty -nine outages. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by <br />Mr. Brunner and carried, the report was ordered filed. <br />STION RE: ORANGE /COLFAX CONNECTOR <br />Floyd Carter was present and asked the Board about the removal <br />of trees east of Elm Street in connection with the construction <br />of the Orange /Colfax Connector. Mr. McMahon noted there should <br />be no tree removal necessary in this area, with the possible <br />exception of the area just east of Elm Street for the transition <br />of the connector. He advised Mr. Carter that John Leszczynski, <br />Manager of the Bureau of Public Construction, has plans for the <br />construction available for inspection and Mr. Carter was referred <br />to Mr.Leszczynski for a response to his question. <br />REQUEST TO PURCHASE PARCEL OF LAND NEAR MICHIGAN /MAIN CONNECTOR <br />James Conboy, Jr, was present and stated he intended to submit <br />an offer to the Board for a residual parcel of land acquired for <br />the Michigan /Main Connector prior to the date of the next <br />Common Council meeting. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon <br />motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, <br />the meeting adjourned at 10:20 a.m. <br />i <br />atrick M.
