214 REGULAR.MEETING OCTOBER 1, 1979 CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE FILED - INDIANA CABLEVISION CORPORATION A Certificate of Insurance written on behalf of Indiana Cablevision Corporation was submitted to the Board. The certificate was in the proper limits of liability. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the Certificate was ordered filed. STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORT FILED The Street Light Outage Report for the period September 23 to 26 was submitted to the Board. The report indicated three outages, Upon motion made by Mr, McMahon, seconded by Mr,Mullen and carried, the report was filed, FILING OF PETITION TO REMOVE YELLOW CURB ON ECLIPSE PLACE Councilman Walter Szymkowiak was present and submitted to the Board a petition of residents of the 1000 and 1100 blocks Eclipse Place requesting that the yellow curb installed be removed. Mr. Szymkowiak noted that a resident painted his curb yellow and then the City repainted it as his request and the request of his neighbor in order to remove parking from in front of the two residences. Mr. Szymkowiak said the property owners want to maintain the residential character of the neighborhood. They have no objection to the yellow curb at the location of the branch bank on the corner which improves traffic safety for vehicles coming out of the bank parking lot. However., they feel that parking should be allowed on the street in the rest of the block since this is not a commercial area. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the petition was referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting for review and appropriate action. SUBGRANT APPROVED - GOODWILL INDUSTRIES Elroy Kelzenberg, Director of the Bureau of Manpower and Training, submitted to the Board a Subgrant Agreement between the City of South Bend and Goodwill for Title IIB activities . to provide testing services for CETA participants. The Subgrant is in the amount of $23,544.00 for the period October 1, 1979 through September 30, 1980. Upon motion made by Mr, McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, the Subgrant was approved. LEASE AGREEMENT FOR ADDITIONAL CETA SPACE APPROVED Elroy Kelzenberg, Director of the Bureau of Manpower and Training, submitted to the Board an amendment to the lease agreement with James D. and Joan J. Nafe for space at 320 W. Jefferson Boulevard, The amendment provides for an additional 680 square feet of space at $300 a month for the period October 1, 1979 through December 31, 1979, with the same provision for extension of the lease as contained in the original lease agreement. Upon motion made by Mr, McMahon, seconded by Mr. Mullen and carried, the lease amendment was approved. J
