REGULAR MEETING JUNE 25, 1979 101 <br />TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES APPROVED <br />Ralph J. Wadzinski, Manager of the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting, <br />recommended approval of the following traffic control devices: <br />A. Installation of Stop Sign on Winston at Rose <br />B. Installation of Stop Sign on Sterling at Rose <br />C. Installation of Stop Sign on Sterling at Cabot <br />D. Installation of Stop Sign on Cabot at Winston <br />Mr. Wadzinski noted that the installations are all in the area <br />of the new Paul Boehm Park and are uncontrolled tee intersections. <br />Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, <br />the recommendations were approved, <br />HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMIT APPROVED <br />Theodore Reiter submitted an application for a Handicapped Parking <br />Permit. Mr. Reiter had a permit in 1978 and his doctor's statement <br />is already on file. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by <br />Mr. Brunner and carried, the application was approved and referred <br />to the Deputy Controller's Office for review and recommendation. <br />IN -KIND VOUCHERS APPROVED - OLD FIRE STATION SEVEN AND TEN <br />In -Kind Contribution Vouchers for the lease /rental of old Fire <br />Station Seven and old Fire Station Ten by A.C.T.I.O.N., Inc. <br />were reviewed by Deputy Controller Michael L. Vance. Mr. Vance <br />reported to the Board that the vouchers are in conformity with <br />lease agreements with A.C.T.I.O.N., Inc, and he recommended approval. <br />Upon motion made by Mr, McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, <br />the In -Kind Contribution Vouchers were approved. <br />OPEN AIR STAND APPLICATIONS APPROVED <br />Open Air Stand Applications for the sale of Fireworks were submitted <br />to the Board by Mike Vicari for locations at 4401 S. Michigan St. <br />and 2934 McKinley and by Mary Krawiec for a location at Mayflower <br />Road and St.Rd. 23. Permission of the private property owners for <br />operation of the stands was submitted. Upon motion made by Mr. <br />McMahon, seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the applications were <br />approved, subject to review by the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting <br />and the purchase of City vending licenses. <br />SIGNING OF TITLE SHEET - MAPLE LANE FOURS <br />The Bureau of Design and Administration submitted to the Board <br />the title sheet approving the plans for Maple Lane Fours. This is <br />a private development with the work to be done in accordance with <br />prevailing City specifications. Upon motion made by Mr. McMahon, <br />seconded by Mr. Brunner and carried, the title sheet approving the <br />plans was signed. <br />APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br />Deputy Controller Michael L. Vance submitted to the Board Claim <br />Docket Numbers 11552 to 12264 and recommended approval. Upon motion <br />made by Mr. McMahon, seconded by Mr, Brunner and carried, the Board <br />approved Claim Docket Numbers 11552 through 12264 and directed that <br />checks for payment be issued. <br />
